I'm in a silly mood tonight, so I finally used Swagbucks until I found the limerick I was trying to remember. It was my favorite as a child and after all these years, I remembered most of it.
“The codfish lays ten thousand eggs,The homely hen lays one;
The codfish never cackles, To tell you when she's done;
And so we scorn the codfish, While the humble hen we prize;
Which only goes to show you, That it pays to advertise”
Now most of you reading this won't have to remember something 55 years ago. Do you remember any of the limericks you learned as a child?
My very favorite was:
There was a young lady from Siam,
Who said to her lover, young Kiam,
If you kiss me, of course,
You'll have to use force.
But then, you're much stronger than I am.
Didn't have to check Swagbucks on that one. What do you remember?

Coming to do my views for Keeping It Real!
They had to throw out all the dirty ones. But none of the judges liked either of the other two.
There once was a lady from Niger,
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger,
They returned from the ride, with the lady inside,
And the smile on the face of the tiger.
More. More.
Who had a magnificent ass,
Not pretty and pink, as you probably think,
It was grey, had long ears, and ate grass.
Fatty rolled over and skinny was dead
Big fat and wide
See how she wobbles
From side to side
